Vancouver-based and women-led, Om Noms was founded by Gina Arsens, a visionary entrepreneur with a Greek heritage. Om Noms is a celebration of health, taste, and a commitment to a more sustainable lifestyle.

Like many families, we aimed to boost our plant-based meals, but embarking on this journey posed its challenges. In the grocery store, the tofu aisle didn't win us over – its taste and texture were unfamiliar. Gourmet transformations seemed impossible amid time constraints, and the meat alternative section presented its own hurdles, leaving me uneasy about the ingredients.
Driven by the mission to simplify plant-based eating, Yumasoy sprouted into existence. Enter Om Noms - our answer to the quest for easy, high-protein, plant-based food.

With an extensive and multi-disciplinary background in Food Science, Operations, Marketing, Education and Product Development, Daphne collaborated with Gina to create amazingly flavourful and scrumptious plant-based meat alternatives.
She firmly believes that plant-based foods can be made with wholesome, real ingredients without having to compromise on taste and enjoyment.
